PDF Stamping customization?

I would like to use the PDF Stamping feature, but there are a few things I need which I cannot find documentation about.

1) I only want to stamp the first one or two pages of my documents.

2) I would like to control other parameters related to the stamp, such as what information is included, whether there are any line-breaks, and where on the page it is stamped.

3) I need to use PDF Stamping on a variety of pdf document sizes, none of which are 8.5x11.

Can the PDF Stamper accommodate these things? Any help in achieving this will be appreciated.

Thanks!

We do have a wishlist item logged to add more stamping configuration options at some point in the future, but at present the stamp cannot be customized; it is always the buyer's name, email and unique Transaction ID, and it is always applied in the upper-left corner of every page, along the edge of the print margin specified in the original PDF file, for any document size.

Thanks for the quick response.

The most important need is just having it applied to the first 1 or 2 pages, rather than the whole document. Can you think of a clever workaround that would allow me to accomplish this? Even if it takes some effort or special coding I'd be willing to sweat a bit to make this possible. For the documents I'm selling, it's completely unprofessional to have a stamp on every page.

We don't have a workaround for what you described, but I'll refer this to Development in case they might be able to do something about it. Since ours is a centrally-managed service shared in common with all our merchants, it's not generally possible to modify how things work for just one seller without applying the same change for all other sellers as well.

The reason for stamping every page is to make it extremely tedious for any file pirate to manually blot out the stamp on every single page of their copy before redistributing it (e.g., by taking a screenshot of each page and editing them in Photoshop before recompiling the edited screenshots into a new PDF). By stamping only two pages, this greatly reduces the burden to those bent on pirating or redistributing your content. Of course, you could always just forgo PDF Stamping entirely and issue unstamped copies of your PDFs.
