Hello, I am relatively new to E-Junkie and am still trying to wrap my head around various parts of the way things work. There are a lot of moving parts, and I often fear that I am doing something wrong or missed some critical step. One thing I am trying to nail down now is affiliates. I believe I have completed the required back-end work, from setting the commission rate to entering the E-Junkie tracking URL into paypal. Now I want to make it easy for new affiliates to understand the terms and get started. I have built an affiliates info page for my latest ebook, "Google Drive: The Rogue Manual", at the following URL: http://www.gdrivemanual.com/p/affiliates.html E-Junkie staff or readers, is there anything else that you would suggest I change/add? Thanks, Ian # POSTED ON: August 16, 2012 @ 07:37 GMT -7 |

Your instructions look good, but I can suggest one simplification. Your affiliate sign-up link will take new affiliates directly to our account registration page if they don't have an account with us, so you don't need to tell them to sign up with us first. If they already have an E-junkie account that they're logged into when they click your sign-up link, the link will simply take them directly to their Affiliate Admin and join them to your program, so they can obtain their hoplink code immediately; if they already have an account but are not logged in when they click your sign-up link, they can simply log into their account after clicking your sign-up link. In case you haven't seen it yet, this help page explains our affiliate system and related settings in detail: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.affiliates.htm We also have a help page for affiliates, explaining the system from their perspective: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.for-affiliates.htm # POSTED ON: August 16, 2012 @ 15:45 GMT -7 |
