Hi, I've just finished configuring a new shop with e-junkie and stumbled on the following: The shop offers checkout with PayPal and Google Checkout, however when using Google Chrome as browser the Google Checkout button does not appear (Chrome version 21.0.1180.79) when displaying the cart. In my profile required information for both PayPal (email) and Google Checkout (merchant ID and merchant key) have been entered. I have tested with Safari and Firefox which do show both PayPal and Google Checkout buttons in the cart as checkout options. I am clueless as to what might cause this. Any ideas? # POSTED ON: August 19, 2012 @ 16:15 GMT -7 |

Thanks for reporting this; it appears to be a bug in Chrome v21, which also isn't displaying other Google-hosted images in our site for some reason (such as the Buy With Google buy-now button and Google Checkout CC-logo image on our Google Checkout demo page: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/google-checkout.htm ), so I've submitted a bug report to Google about it. Hopefully, with Chrome's rapid release cycle, they'll get this fixed and roll out the bugfix in Chrome v22 coming soon. Meanwhile, we've hacked-in a workaround, so if our cart detects the buyer is using Chrome, it will show a Buy With Google checkout button image that's hosted on our site, rather than pulling the button image directly from Google. # POSTED ON: August 20, 2012 @ 19:01 GMT -7 |
