Hi, We sell tangible products, and recently switched our payments from PayPal Standard to Pro. This was necessary to make our SEM tracking work better; we could not reliably capture conversions when customers were being bounced over to the PayPal checkout then back to our thank you page. Unfortunately, we discovered that Payments Pro does not send the customer a detailed confirmation/receipt email for their purchase like Standard did (annoying!). I enabled the default thank you email in e-junkie but it does not appear have the ability to display detailed invoice information for the customer, only general variables such as name, transaction ID, total dollar amount etc. If I enable template emails on individual products then the customer receives a confirmation about that product only. Since our customers often order 2-3 different items I want to send them a confirmation email showing the whole invoice, not the default thank-you email PLUS separate product confirmation emails for each item that they ordered. Is this possible within e-junkie, or will it require some kind of script to capture the IPN data from PayPal when the customer arrives at our thank-you page and send out an email? Thanks, Brian @ The Gig Easy LLC # POSTED ON: August 29, 2012 @ 13:40 GMT -7 |

Since our thank-you emails cannot include details about all individual items in the order together in the same message, we can recommend setting up your E-junkie thank-you page as an invoice page: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/tips.thankyou-page.invoice.htm # POSTED ON: August 29, 2012 @ 16:56 GMT -7 |
