Hi updating my tracking code - quick question re the following: Third-party tracking services (e.g., Google AdWords or independent affiliate systems) may track conversions by providing a snippet of tracking code that they require you to place on your post-checkout thank-you page. Since the way our system works can interfere with that method of conversion tracking, our standard E-junkie Cart can now trigger a conversion-tracking URL (aka "tracking pixel" or "Web beacon" URL) without requiring you to add any tracking code to your thank-you pages. Just add these lines to your View Cart code on every page, just before the // --> line in the standard View Cart code you obtain from Seller Admin: function EJEJC_config() { EJEJC_BEACON = "http://Put.Tracking.Pixel.or.Beacon.URL.Here"; } Do I need to include multiple EJEJC_BEACON web tracking codes for each of the sites I want to track? # POSTED ON: September 12, 2012 @ 08:18 GMT -7 |

Only one beacon URL can be specified, and you should put that in the View Cart code on every page of your site, so no matter which page the buyer orders from, the cart on that page can pass the beacon URL to checkout. As I recall, you're not selling any digital goods such as downloads, correct? If so, you may want to try the method "If you are selling only tangible goods" explained here: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/tips.tracking.conversions.htm That should auto-redirect buyers to the thank-you page after checkouts on PayPal's site, and of course card-based direct payment checkouts always auto-redirect regardless; however, I think Google Checkout still doesn't provide any way to auto-redirect to any thank-you page after completion of checkout. # POSTED ON: September 12, 2012 @ 13:29 GMT -7 |

Added the beacon and the e-junkie analytics code and it seems to be working fine Thanks # POSTED ON: September 12, 2012 @ 13:50 GMT -7 |
