E-junkieChefIf you move the script to an inaccessible area, our server will not be able to access it. However, on our integration page you'll see we pass a "handshake" variable using which you can ensure that it's e-junkie which is calling your script. I need to do the same thing as 'menno' - I need to have both a download link and a unique name and password sent to the buyer for the 'members only' portion of my site. Where can I get the scripts to load to my server? Also, any advice on what integrated code I need to add to my "Members" page would be very helpful. There's got to be a pretty turnkey way to do this... right? Thank you! # POSTED ON: July 1, 2009 @ 11:30 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: July 1, 2009 @ 11:34 GMT -7 |

There's got to be a pretty turnkey way to do this... right? Thank you! We have no built-in "turnkey" method of our own to generate a name/password for a members-only section of your site, and you would need to have your own scripting in place at your end to administer security/access for your own members-only area anyway. You might consider using the buyer's email and Transaction ID as their initial login credentials, so you can use our Thank-you Email and Thank-you Page template variables to display that back to the buyer, and use our Integration method to transmit that data to the custom scripts at your end that would create their account in your system. Since you mention wanting a "turnkey" solution, and this would likely involve at least some custom programming, you'll probably want to consult with someone from our Developer Directory about your options and potential costs to set that up: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/developer-directory.htm # POSTED ON: July 1, 2009 @ 13:51 GMT -7 |

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but seeing as how it's already derailed into others asking related questions, figuring I'd jump on the bandwagon. That being said, here it goes. I intend to use PayPal & e-junkie for my site, in which it would be used to handle subscriptions for access to a members only section. I know that I would have to create scripts on my server to handle the actual access. My question is, would I be able to set it up so that a user can fill out a custom field for desired username/password and then have that info sent to my script? In a somewhat related sense, when using your ability to select from a list of product registration codes that I'd provide, can the codes have spaces and symbols? Meaning, could I put one of the codes as: Username: BlahBlahBlah; Password: hadurdurdur and it'd go through correctly in the email to the customer? Thanks! # POSTED ON: July 3, 2009 @ 14:43 GMT -7 |

Zimnick If you setup your product with Variations then you can create two options User Name and Password. If you do not create variations for these options then the buyer will be given a text filed to type into. Here is a link to our FAQ page about variants and variations: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.variants.htm Since our code is separated by the start of a new line you should be able to add in code with spaces and symbols.
