Is there a way to calculate shipping based on the amount of items a customer purchases. For example, I am selling an item in which I charge a certain amount per square foot, and I want to charge by square foot for shipping as well (i.e. if you buy 12 square feet it will be $.0.12 a square foot for shipping). Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! # POSTED ON: November 15, 2007 @ 01:15 GMT -7 |

Yes, that can be done using many number of ways. Easiest way is to add "1 square foot piece" in E-junkie admin as product, set it's weight to one ounce and then in Admin > Shipping settings, set the cost of shipping to 0.12. I created a discount called Free Shiping, set Discount to $4.00 Flat, Applies to Item Total, Min Order Amount is 39.89, Max use is 0. Is there a different way I should be doing this? Basically what I need is free shipping on 2 or more items. Two items always equals at least 39.90, so the discount should always be triggered. My client has a flat shipping fee set in the "handling" section of $4.00, and what we want to do is set a $4.00 discount when the $39.89 threshold is met. Any insight you can provide would be great, especially if there's another way to approach this. # POSTED ON: November 15, 2007 @ 01:41 GMT -7 |

Set 100% discount on shipping. That will do what you need. # POSTED ON: November 15, 2007 @ 01:41 GMT -7 |

Ok, I want to set mine up to the "Order Based Amounts" and not flat rate. Do I need to set the packages in ALL of them including the tubes? Mine products are sent in 9 x 5 inch bubble mailers and some boxes. I think I'm beginning to comprehend some of this, I sure do appreciate all your patience. thanks, kayekaye # POSTED ON: November 15, 2007 @ 01:50 GMT -7 |
