I have a lot of customers tell me that they would like to change their shipping address during checkout. All of them are in the military and most are deployed abroad so their billing address and shipping address will always be different. Is there a way they can modify their shipping address during the PayPal checkout? Currently it's not letting them do that. Any help would be highly appreciated. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 13:09 GMT -7 |

PayPal very well lets the buyers choose any address they want or enter a new one. You can check that yourself. If it's not working that way, I'll be glad to look into this. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 13:10 GMT -7 |

It seems that if they pay using their paypal account (logging in to paypal) it will let them change the shipping address. If they choose to pay with a credit card (non-paypal account holders) it won't let them change the shipping address. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 13:11 GMT -7 |

Inside the PayPal profile under Payment Receiving Preferences you have to make sure that the one that says: Block payments from users who do not provide a Confirmed Address is not marked "Yes". It should be marked "No" or "Ask Me". # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 13:12 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 13:34 GMT -7 |

I'm trying to solve the same problem and "inside the PayPal profile under Payment Receiving Preferences" the option "Block payments from users who do not provide a Confirmed Address" does not appear and I can't find it anywhere else in the profile either. (I don't know if it's relevant but we are using the PayPal UK) Can anyone advise? # POSTED ON: November 28, 2007 @ 07:52 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: November 28, 2007 @ 07:53 GMT -7 |

PayPal might be able to help you better with that question. You should post it at http://www.pdncommunity.com/ # POSTED ON: December 1, 2007 @ 00:43 GMT -7 |
