Unless our server is down (which it's not), it's an issue with Google Checkout as sometimes they are unable to reach our server. This can cause delay in order processing.

Correct, this does not cause any problems with the buyer experience or order as we already provide backup settings to Google Checkout.

The Invalid State Transition is caused because you selected "charge immediately" in your Google Checkout settings whereas instructions said otherwise. However, this again does not have any adverse effect.
