I offer gift certificates that can be purchased on my site that can be applied towards any item. They are set up for $50, $100 & $500 increments that can be combined or used seperately. I tried setting up the discount code but it will only take one code, where I need more options for each amount. Is this possible? Also, since I already have buttons for each item set up is there a way to change all of them at once or would it have to be done individually? # POSTED ON: November 22, 2007 @ 14:56 GMT -7 |

Each discount can have one code so you just need to create 3 discounts if you want 3 different codes. Make sure that you set the use count to 1 so that the buyer can only use the certificate once. Adding a cart level discount code does not change the button code. # POSTED ON: November 22, 2007 @ 14:57 GMT -7 |

Because the customer can combine these gift certificates or use them individually is it possible to be able to create more than one discount box for the codes? # POSTED ON: November 22, 2007 @ 14:59 GMT -7 |

Unfortunately, that is something we can't do due to the technical limitations of our cart. Our cart basically can accept 1 cart amount discount code, 1 cart shipping discount code and then 1 item discount code "per item". So if you want, you can create at least one code which can work in addition to your cart discount code and then go to each item (Admin > Edit Product) and then enter the new code as an item discount code there. # POSTED ON: November 22, 2007 @ 15:00 GMT -7 |
