When a discount is applied to a product, it is displayed in the shopping cart below the product as "Codes applied: Current Promotion". Is there a way to display the actual discount code name, as opposed to the generic "current promotion" text ..? # POSTED ON: November 24, 2007 @ 02:37 GMT -7 |

Sorry, that's not possible. # POSTED ON: November 24, 2007 @ 02:37 GMT -7 |

Hi everyone, Is this still the case with the promotions, in that you cannot change that text? Thanks, Sam # POSTED ON: March 29, 2009 @ 10:04 GMT -7 |

If the buyer manually enters any Discount Code(s) in their cart, the code(s) they entered will be shown in the cart. The cart can have one Cart Discount code applied to the whole order, and each item in the cart can also have one Item Discount code applied. If an automatic Cart Discount is applied without requiring the buyer to enter a Discount Code manually, then the cart will only show "Codes applied: Current Promotion", and that cannot be customized. # POSTED ON: March 29, 2009 @ 17:07 GMT -7 |

Hi Tyson, Right, ok thanks. What I'm setting up is, if the buyer spends more than £30, they receive free shipping, so I've set up a discount to that effect which kicks in once £30 is reached. Is this the correct way to apply such a discount? Thanks very much, Sam # POSTED ON: March 31, 2009 @ 07:24 GMT -7 |

Yes, a Cart Discount would be the way do that, and make sure you leave the Discount Code field blank for that discount's settings, so the discount will apply itself automatically based on the order-total threshold you'd set. # POSTED ON: March 31, 2009 @ 15:05 GMT -7 |
