added admin appears button cart checkout code disabled email entered instructed item paypal preferences product profile properly purchase site standard uploaded web

I'm trying to add my first product to my web site. It appears to be properly uploaded and I'm using the button code as instructed. But once the item is added to the cart, there is no checkout button, or any way to complete the purchase. Ideas?

If you have your PayPal email entered in Admin > Profile, please make sure you don't have PayPal Standard disabled in Admin > Cart Preferences.
