Once a buyer goes to checkout that process does need to be secure since the buyer is being requested to provide sensitive data at that point (name, address, payment account info, etc.). If they're using a third-party payment processor such as PayPal or Google Checkout, those sites are already trusted by buyers, and their checkout pages are secured and indicated as such by their own means. If they're paying you directly with a credit card authorized via PayPal Pro or Authorize.Net, in that case we host the secure checkout page at https://www.fatfreecartpro.com/... (note the "https:", with the "s" indicating a secure connection that also shows the padlock icon in their browser), and which does also display our GeoTrust badge.]]>

Could we use the Slam online scam, geotrust or paypal or other secure logos. We get that we don't need a secure server, but folks should know their info is protected prior to clicking the add to cart button.]]>

If you want to go to the trouble and expense of installing a SSL certificate for your own site, so all your pages could have the padlock icon, that would be entirely up to you and doesn't involve us at all. All you'd need to do to make that work with our cart is modify your button codes so any instance of "http://www.e-junkie.com/" is changed to "https://www.e-junkie.com/".]]>

For checkouts using PayPal Pro or Authorize.Net, the actual checkout page the buyer sees is secure and actually hosted by us (we interface with the processor behind the scenes in this case), so our GeoTrust and ControlScan badges appear at the bottom of the checkout page.

There is no need to have any secure encryption on your own site, since no private or financial data is being transmitted before the buyer goes to checkout. :^)]]>

Can we put in text line at the bottom of the web page saying the check-out is secure safe shopping by e-junkie GeoTrust and ControlScan Certifies?

I like some kind of logo or text saying the site is secure shopping at checkout.

Thanks
