Right now my solution to get order confirmation to my client is to wade through those "variable dump" looking emails, copy and paste out the pertinent info, and send a new email to the client. Very time consuming.]]>

However, you can use out inegration feature to get notified for each item in a transaction (we send all IPN variables, all order data with each notification call) and use it to generate a notification email per transaction.

In January, we will let you specify a URL where we'll notify you once for each transaction. By January end we'll also let you switch between a single email per order or multiple emails (like it's now).]]>

I am curious what else E-Junkie overrides. I have IPN set up inside PayPal, so that I can generate my own order confirmation emails, only it completely doesn't work. I am wondering if E-Junkie overrides this as well, and gets the IPN notification to it's own script instead of the one I set up.

Is PayPal IPN how E-Junkie gathers information on our transactions? Like buyer name and address and that stuff?

I am trying to use PayPal IPN so that I can generate my own order confirmation emails, because E-Junkie really doesn't do that. Now I'm afraid I can't use PayPal to do it either, if E-Junkie is "stealing" the IPN event also. It's got me between a rock and hard place as far as generating order confirmation emails.]]>
