It may work for other people (and it's an interesting idea), but we have several exclusive agreements in place that would prohibit us from doing this. We can advertise only our own software and our official affiliates.

My first advice is to read this entire blog:

The writer is also an E-Junkie customer and he does a great job of explaining how to increase sales. I don't agree with 100% of what he says, but he is mostly right -- it's a very interesting read.

My second advice is to design a drastically different page (change everything!) and do A to B testing. You may find that an unusual template will increase sales dramatically. Check www.logmein.com for an example of unusual web design.
