While have now restored service and are still investigating the actual cause of the outage, the good news is that it appeared to be isolated to the old datacenter that we are now in the process of migrating fully away from; indeed, switching our services over to one of our servers in the new datacenter is what brought the service back up and finally kept it up for good. The outage kind of "forced our hand" to follow this phase of our migration plans a bit sooner than we had scheduled, but everything appears to have gone as smoothly as we intended. Future plans in the new datacenter include improved redundancy schema, further eliminating any single-point failures and allowing room for further expansion of capacity as we grow.]]>
