You may notice there is no page-template variable for the download URL, which means there is no way to replace the text-based download link with a button image, although you may be able to apply some CSS tricks to alter the appearance of that link text and even give the illusion of a button (e.g., using border and background properties). The general thank-you page custom HTML field is a good place to put STYLE blocks containing CSS that can override the standard formatting of our thank-you page text.

Also note that, if your IFRAME src= URL includes the "noredirect=true" parameter (as documented on our Redirection help page), that should suppress any standard header/footer text that is normally displayed in the E-junkie-hosted version of our thank-you pages, so your IFRAME would only display your download links and other custom content.]]>

These are the options that I see for confirmations (that don't include email):

1. The default Thank You page that has a download "link" when "Download" is checked in the administration area.
2. The default redirect page links to a predefined/customized Thank You page that can be hosted anywhere.
3. Custom HTML from the General Thank You page is appended to the code in the default Tha nk You page.
4. Custom HTML for the Product Thank You page is appended to the code in the default Thank You page, and follows HTML from the General Thank You HTML if it exists.
5. Custom HTML for the General Thank You and Product Thank You page will both ALSO appear in the iframe of a customized self-hosted Thank You page in the same appending order as it would appear in the default thank you page if we want to dynamic variables from e-junkie to appear on the page.
6. In all cases a DIV with class name "item_info" precedes all HTML on all pages (default thank you page, redirect page, custom HTML in iframe), but can be removed with javascript in the custom HTML fields that turns off the display property of the div using "document.write" to write the style information.

Understanding all of this, I'd still like to have the download button on my custom thank you page. It looks like the item_info DIV for the download link on the download page uses a form that passes two variables (txn_id and d_id) to a form called df.php.

"txn_id" is one of the parameters that can be passed to the custom thank you page within the iframe, but I can't find any reference to d_id.

So, at long length, my question is "What is d_id?". I suspect it to be an abbreviation for dealer ID, which would mean I could add it as a constant when I call the form to generate the download.

If it's not a constant, then I'll just give up on the custom download button.]]>

Our thank-you page (whether presented as-is or in your own page's IFRAME) would apply the general template first, followed by product templates below that.]]>

Thanks for your help. I sent a reply to your email, but it might be good to have this answered publicly too.

= = = =

I figured out how to get rid of the e-Junkie text in the thank you page by using some conditional javascript document.write statements for the styles.

I've also changed to a general thank-you page from an individual product thank you page.

Everything looks close to how it should.

However, my goal is to have the download button on the custom thank you page, which seems to require the individual product redirect. Also, the custom download link tag [%download_link%], as well as [%max_downloads%] and [%expiry_hours%] don't seem to work in the iframe page with these settings.

Am I trying to do the impossible, or is there a way for this to happen?

You should probably either use a general thank-you page URL (in Seller Admin > Edit Account Preferences) instead of an individual product redirect, or otherwise remove your custom HTML from E-junkie's thank-you pages.

When you have customized the E-junkie thank-you page and also configured product-specific redirects, then our emailed links would display our customized thank-you page first and require the buyer to click a link there to activate any redirect to your own page; if there is no custom thank-you page HTML, then the redirect happens instantly from the emailed link.

By contrast, a general thank-you page URL should redirect instantly from the emailed links to your generic landing page URL, where more order-specific links/data from our thank-you pages (including any customization HTML) would be displayed inside your page's IFRAME.]]>

https://www.e-junkie.com/d/?t=j4888f27f4aaa862&d=2833323

from my free "thank you" email, it goes to the e-junkie thank you page, which shows some e-Junkie formatting around the content I want to have in my iframe.

Also, this page doesn't redirect. There is a "Click here to complete your purchase..." message that leads to my customized landing page with the iframe.

http://www.moluv.com/70ways/thankyou.asp?txn_id=j4888f27f4aaa862&item_number=130195

but the "Click here to complete your purchase..." message is still in the content.

What I would like to know is

1. How can I get the redirect to happen automatically from the email link? I read that PayPal Pro goes directly to the custom page, but the regular PayPal goes to the redirect page first then automatically redirects to the custom page. This doesn't resolve the email issue.

2. How do I get rid of the "Click here to complete your purchase..." text above my custom HTML? The link below is how I would like it to look.
