You can then use this list of e-mail addresses to keep in contact with your customers. Use it to tell them about other products you sell, how to use the product they purchased from you, invite them to seminars, provide other valuable information to them, etc. etc.

Many marketing studies have shown that it is a whole lot easier to sell to people who have already bought something from you in the past. Use that to your advantage = just like all the major Internet Marketers and large corporations do.]]>

Yes, I agree. It looks like it is scanning for fields called "buyer_email" and "buyer_name"
but DOES NOT have those fields in the email.

There has got to be a better way to test this. I am going to email support and see if I can get the support folks from both companies on a 3 way call and see if they can help us sort it out. I will keep you all posted...]]>

Also, you need to substitute the actual name of YOUR list at Aweber in place of LISTNAME. Let's say you had a list at AWeber called Peanuts.

You would specify:

http://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php?&aweber=Peanuts@aweber.com

Also, at AWeber, when you cut and paste your e-mail information and hit the test button - it SHOULD pop up a list of variables that get populated as a result of your e-mail. If you don't see those, then there's a problem and it is LIKELY THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE E-MAIL PARSER FOR E-JUNKIE at AWeber.

I just looked at it and it is scanning for fields called "buyer_email" and "buyer_name"
I ALSO looked at one of my e-junkie sales confirmation e-mails with a subject of "E-junkie Notification - Sale[.....]" and it DOES NOT have those fields in it.

So, this is CLEARLY an issue between e-junkie and Aweber. The current parser at Aweber would NEVER WORK with the transaction e-mails I get from e-junkie. I don't know "what gives" but I'd try to get support folks from both companies on a 3 way call and see if they can help you sort it out.]]>

The way to get the Header and Message body that you will need to test the AWeber Email Parser for Outlook Express is first select the message, then go to File – Properties and select the Details tab. Then click on the Message Source button and Select All of this text and paste it into the AWeber Email Parser and then click on the test button. You should receive this result if good.

Matched Ruleset "Shopping Cart: e-junkie.com" with regex "From:[^\n]+notifications@e-junkie.com"

Now the question I have is how to get e-junkie send it to AWeber?
In my product level - Payment Variable Information URL I have http://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php?&aweber=LISTNAME@aweber.com but it is not getting to AWeber.

Also, how would I do this for all items can I be setup once somewhere?]]>

1. Make sure that the "active" box is checked for e-junkie parser.
2. Since it is triggered via e-mail headers, you'll have to make sure you copy and paste the full header of one of the e-junkie e-mails in the box as well as the text of the e-mail.

You'll need to find the proper way to display the full headers of the e-mail - this depends on what e-mail client you are using (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.) For Thunderbird, I select View/Headers/All from the menu. Then I go to the e-junkie e-mail and forward it. This opens up an e-mail compose window and in the body of the e-mail all the headers are there. I just select all and then copy and paste into the AWeber box.

But it's very important that you have the FULL headers in there - since the Aweber parse looks for specific information in the header to determine if it is an e-mail from e-junkie.]]>

Append &aweber=listname@aweber.com to the o_plug.php, where listname is the name of the AWeber list you want the buyer to be added to.

AWeber will send a confirmation email to the buyer, and as soon as they verify, they are added to the AWeber list.]]>

Name of List Only - checking the "sign up for product updates" box on checkout
Name of List w/"@aweber.com" - checking the box on checkout

Name of List Only - NOT checking the "sign up for product updates" box on checkout
Name of List w/"@aweber.com" - NOT checking the box on checkout

No names were added to my Aweber lists and I didn't receive any e-mails from Aweber asking me to confirm my subscription.

So, I'm forced to conclude that you DO NOT have a successful method to interface with AWeber at the present time. Is this correct? Or have I been missing something?]]>

You will need to change the information URL for your products to http://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php?&aweber=email.address.of.your.mailing.list]]>
