If you would rather have a coupon code that discounts a regularly-priced product to 0.00, you can set an Item Discount code in the product's configs -- which would only apply to the price of that item and could be used any number of times by any number of people -- or go into Seller Admin > Edit Cart Discounts and create a code that discounts 100% off the item total -- which would apply to sales of any items but could be restricted to a single use.
