Yeah I figured the 2 and 2 split was because it was cheaper. I'm just glad I checked it otherwise I would have probably sent it 3 and 1. It makes sense economically just not practically, most people I think would go 3 and 1.

I look forward to hearing back about the 5 unit one, that has me baffled too. Thanks for the quick reply and the help it's much appreciated!

For 4 units:

+4.95 (3 DVDs @ 15 oz. Priority)
+2.24 (1 DVD @ 7 oz. First Class)
=7.19
vs.
+2.92 (2 DVDs @ 11 oz. First Class)
+2.92 (2 DVDs @ 11 oz. First Class)
=5.84

Adding $2 handling and 2 boxes priced at $0.50 each, the latter should come to $8.84, which is exactly what the cart calculated when I tested it.

However, for 5 units:

+4.95 (3 DVDs @ 15 oz. Priority)
+2.92 (2 DVDs @ 11 oz. First Class)
=7.87

Adding $2 handling and $1 for 2 boxes, this should come to $10.87, but the cart calculates $9.52, a shortage of $1.30 that I can't account for, so I'll have to ask Development to look into what might be going on there.]]>

I am testing out the postage features on my cart and I have the following:

A DVD that weighs 4 oz per unit and 3 units fit in a box.

The box weighs 3 oz.

Handling is $2 total order

Box Cost $.50 each

For 5 Units it's giving me a cost of $9.52

I can see this: $2 handling + $1 (2 boxes) + $2.92 shipping on (2 DVD box 11oz) = $5.92 which leaves
$3.60 for shipping with the box of (3 DVD's which weighs 15oz) that is not enough.

Use Zipcodeds: 74137 to 98144

Please help me figure this out.

Joe

P.S. - Something else that's funny is for 4 units it splits them 2 and 2 instead of 3 and 1. I'm glad I checked this otherwise I would have sent them at my expense as 3 and 1.]]>
