I'll check with PayPal. I'll probably end up creating the deposit and balance as two separate products, which will accomplish the same thing, but not as elegant.

Thanks again!

As an alternative, you can go into Seller Admin > Payment Preferences and enable the "Only Authorize" setting, so the buyer's payment account will be authorized for the full amount without actually charging it, and our system would process the sale. Then it would be up to you when to actually settle or complete the payment from your payment processor account.

You would probably also want to inquire with PayPal, Google Checkout and/or Authorize.Net (the checkout methods that can work with our Only Authorize setting) about how long you can keep an authorized but uncharged payment in pending status before it would automatically be canceled if you don't manually complete the payment first.]]>

I'm looking for information about configuring Purchase Deposits.

Essentially, the buyer pays 50% deposit, and the balance upon delivery.

Where can I find information to configure the above scenario?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
