This page explains the basic functionality of our affiliate system from an affiliate's perspective:
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.affiliates.htm

If your sales agents will be referring buyers to your site in-person or via phone as well as (or instead of) posting referral links on their own Web pages, then you could facilitate that by using a "URL shortening" service like tinyurl.com or bit.ly (there are dozens of similar services, each with different features you may find useful).

For instance, our standard HTML code for an Affiliate Hop Link looks like this:

Click here to view more details

...then the URL portion of that would be just this part:

https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=XXXXX&c=ib&aff=YYYYY

...then you could submit that URL to tinyurl.com or bit.ly to get a short, simple URL that auto-redirects to the real affiliate URL, but which is easier to say over the phone or write on a business card/napkin/etc. like so:

www.bit.ly/a1b2c3

...or using a custom option when submitting the link, you could make the shortened URL even easier, like so:

www.bit.ly/tyson-n-sales
