The setting for "encrypted buttons" is only relevant for PayPal's own cart/purchase buttons, because they have you configure the product price and other settings in the button code right there on your page. Using their "encrypted" buttons means that if someone copies your PayPal button code from your page, modifies their copy of the code (say, to change the price), and tries to use their modified copy, it won't work.

E-junkie button codes don't contain any product settings that can be tampered with. All product settings such as price, etc. are configured in Seller Admin, and your button codes only contain a reference to your E-junkie account and product IDs in our database, so the cart looks up the actual product specs from there.
