Generated Traffic is a Big Deal!

I use the online advertising sites for different programs. I have an Autosubmitter to send out Classified Ads. Emails are a bit over done these days, but I own a Safelist you can join for free. Also subscribe to the Ad Boards and enter text ads for your products. All of these take time and effort... I've been creating seperate pages on a free page creator and using them too. Also you can create Blogs and people will link back to you that will help drive traffic to your site. Join as many surfing sites as possible! Dude Seriously, I'm am an affiliate of a few sites. I have harness traffic from myspace. This is targeted traffic.

www.Myspacefriendjunkie.com will help you get traffic to your ebay store. I actually sell my ebook from my myspace profile.

It works... Take it or leave it but if you want to find traffic (free targeted traffic) then use your myspace profile, get with the ebay groups on myspace and blast 1 bulletin once a week?

But you have to get a ton of friends first and myspacefriendjunkie.com will help. Hands down.

Additional ways to generate traffic:

*put up an ad on craigslist.com with links to your site/store/blog
*put up listings at hoobly.com with links to your site
*add your site to dmoz.org
*put your site on all your printed material i.e. biz cards, fliers, letterhead, etc.
*answer questions at askville.com with links pointing to your site
*read the e-code, a lot of useful information
*get a few college interns to help you promote online

That has actually worked for E-junkie too! I am a frequent posted in PayPal and Google Cehckout forums. Those signature links really do help :)

I sell templates to photographers - the way I've driven people to my site is using forums. I've joined about 5 forums - and I post group discounts for people on that forum. It has worked really well for me. Most of my traffic is from there. Also be sure to add your site to the search engines too!

Press release is alos a good way to jumstart something. Just make sure you put a catchy twist on anything you are doing.

some ways of getting traffic:

- put up an article and submit to article sites
- blog about it
- stumbleupon
- traffic exchanges
- facebook, myspace and the likes

your hosting provider must support php in order for it to work. php is a programming language i suppose. and yes, exactly like i typed. or, u can just copy from paste in notepad, then change the url to your aff url, and save it.

another option for hiding links, use php.

open a notepad. insert this:
header ("location: http://www.youraffiliatelink.com/aff=12345blablabla");
?>

pls change http://www.youraffiliatelink.com/aff=12345blablabla to your actual affiliate link hehehe...

then save it as whateveruwant.php (not .txt but .php)

upload this file to your directory.
now your affiliate link will be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/whateveruwant.php

Connie, I don't have an answer to your traffic question but as for hiding the affiliate link, you can use any short url service like tinyurl and use that in your signature or with your banner.

Hi, how do you generate traffic to your ebay store, without paying alot of money.
and also how do you hide the affliate link in your emails. I have msn. I know about tiny url, but I was thinking more of my banner or sigi with the affliate link in it.
