When you set up Aweber integration, your Common Notification URL (for all orders) or Payment Variable Info URL (for a specific product) would look something like this:

http://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php?&aweber=LISTNAME@aweber.com

If you wanted to test your Aweber setup, you could replace the aweber.com address at the end with your own email, like so:

Crazily tho, they sent 2 'earning' confirmation emails to an affiliate on these test transactions as they had a cookie on my machine! Kinda bizarre that in a test you can;t test what you need to, yet it sends unnecessary & confusing emails to your affiliates!!!

This leads to the question - In a real life purchase of an item priced at anything above 0, this info is passed to aweber without having to tick this box?]]>

I also note a previous thread here - http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/3842 which stated that by replacing the aweber list address with your own email that you could verify that emails were being sent via this.

Well, neither method appears to be sending the required email.

There is some pretty bad english, or it's just very unclear - after the relevent url field example in the instructions, this appears -

(where LISTNAME is the name of the Aweber mailing list you want new buyers subscribed to -- if you already have http://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php? you do not need to repeat it :^)

the first part is clearly an indication of customising the email address that you can send the notification to. But the other part, what the heck does that mean? and is this :^ some kinda smiley?

Would it not be simpler to include an option in the set up, that instead of a field for a common notification url, that the field was for a common notification email address and then just an email address, or even multiple addresses could be added here!

So in conclusion, what I want to know is, how do I set up ejunkie to parse info to aweber? as the instructions given do not on this occassion work for me.]]>
