If you have set a common affiliate program it applies to all of your products, even ones that didn't exist at the time your affiliate joined or aren't directly related to that specific affiliate. As long as buyer who found your site via an affiliate purchases that product within the six month duration of their cookie, the affiliate will be given credit.

As for your second question, you can screen your affiliates by only giving them the link to join after they've provided you with the information you want. Instead of letting them join remotely, you could instruct potential affiliates to e-mail you and then provide the link to them once you're comfortable.]]>

Last night (2/25) a sale came through via an affiliate link. This affiliate registered with my program on ejunkie in November 2009. I only uploaded the product that earned the affiliate with the last week. I can't see how this would not be a fraudulent affiliate sale.

What should I do about this?

Question #2

I received no notification that someone had signed up as an affiliate -- so it was a surprise. When I went to check it out, all I had was an e-mail address, no real address or phone.

Is there a way to get name, physical address, phone, and referrer for affiliate signups?

Thanks,
