Currently we report the checkout button clicks to GA if you are using the JavaScript version of our cart. We do not yet report the clicks on Add-to-cart or View-cart buttons.

You can use JavaScript on your end to trigger the GA tracking code for Add-to-cart buttons.

As long as you're using the standard version of our cart that appears as an overlay "inside" your page, you can use the special version of GA tracking code we provide to allow tracking of cart-button clicks, and you should also be using that code on all your site's pages where you want to use GA tracking (not just pages with our cart buttons). Offhand, I'm not sure exactly how button clicks reported in GA would appear, but it should be fairly self-evident; I can ask Development to chip in here with specifics on that count.

Ok, it looks like the problem was caused by the fact that I was manually setting a cookie in Firefox to exclude my own traffic, as per Google's recommendations. This caused the Javascript error, and also prevented the cart from showing up. You guys might want to look into this, but for now I've switched to using an IP address exclusion filter instead.

On another note, are we supposed to be able to see Add to Cart or View Cart clicks in Google Analytics? Since the E-Junkie cart code adds onclick handlers to all of the links that I want to track, I can't manually set this up in Google Analytics. I'm assuming the custom E-Junkie integration will allow for tracking which Add to Cart buttons were clicked on by the user.

Is that correct?? What should I see in Google Analytics?

BTW this is on Firefox 3.6, and I can see the error in the console when using Firebug.

E-junkie team, please have one of your developers look at this issue.

I followed the instructions at http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.tracking.htm and installed the Google Analytics Javascript code before the tag in my content. However, now I'm getting a Javascript error "i is not defined" when the browser tries to load ga.js. It *looks* like I'm still receiving analytics data, but I'm not absolutely certain.

Can you guys PLEASE release a version of the integration code that conforms to the latest Javascript code from Google Analytics? I don't know if there are incompatibility issues here. If so, this may screw up my metrics, which are crucial since I just recently launched.

Please fix this, or at least document it!!!
