However, he was selling a software product that was the exact, same file for everyone, and that's the way download products in our system still work. Therefore, you would need to create a separate product in Seller Admin for each client, so you could email them the Buy Now button link to pay for and then receive their own completed project file.

Once they're done paying and have their file, you could delete their product to reclaim that product slot in your account. You would need to subscribe at our $18/mo level or higher to support hosting the download file on your own server rather than uploading each file to our server through Seller Admin.]]>

Glad to hear that the E-junkie Marketplace is purely optional.

I should have made my set-up a bit clearer. I already have a Joomla based website that will allow for customers to upload their files to me and also have a storage solution for me to put the files that I complete. I just need a secure way of creating a "Buy Now!" button associated with each new file that needs to be purchased and then having that URL securely distributed to them immediately upon payment, preferably using PayPal's IPN technology.

If I merely waited until I received their payment to sent them the URL, I might not be at my desk when I saw that the payment was made and I'm certain that within days I'd receive a notification that my PayPal account had been suspended as a result of an anxious buyer alerting PayPal that they didn't receive their product as soon as they wanted.

So the two biggest features I need out of a services is 1) Immediate URL delivery upon payment, and 2) The Ability to create "Buy Now!" buttons to place in individualized invoices that will be sent to clients.

Knowing my situation a little better, does it sound like E-junkie can fulfill my requirements?]]>

However, the download fulfillment part of our service is designed for selling a regular product line, such as software, ebooks or music, where every buyer gets an identical copy of whatever file was uploaded for the product. We really aren't geared for providing a unique file to each buyer, nor do we have any way for buyers to upload a file for you to work on.

In fact, you wouldn't really need any special "download service" like E-junkie just to return completed project files to your clients. You could simply upload the file(s) to your own Web site or a file-serving service like Filevo, MegaUpload, Mediafire, etc., then just email the buyer with the URL to download just their own file(s) once you receive their payment. To request payment, you might consider using our free Buckdrop.com service.]]>

I'm looking into creating a site where customers will send me single files and I will work on them. I will then send them an invoice when the file's are completed. The invoice will have "Buy Now!" buttons which will take the customer to paypal and then ultimately to the private download link.

What troubled me is that in the "Shop" tab on the E-Junkie website, I seem to be able to see everyone's products. Can I make my products invisible or protected somehow so that not just anyone can see and purchase them? I'd hate to think that my client's file downloads would be available for anyone to purchase.

Thanks for your time,]]>
