If you are not seeing any orders in your E-junkie Seller Admin > View/Download Transaction Log screen, that indicates PayPal has not informed our system of any payments, so we had no way of knowing those orders were even placed and thus our system could not issue any links or emails for them (receipt emails from PayPal are sent entirely independent of us). The "Wait for pending payments..." setting only tells PayPal to notify us when the buyer finishes checkout rather than when the actual payment process is completed, but if something is preventing PayPal from notifying us at all, that setting would have no effect.

If you go into your PayPal account > My Account > History > IPN History, what do you see there for the affected Transaction IDs? If the IPN Status column says Disabled for those Transaction IDs, then you need to re-enable IPN for your PayPal account. Go to My Account > Profile > Instant Payment Notification Preferences > Edit IPN Settings, where you should choose to Receive IPN Messages (Enabled) and enter this Notification URL:

I have checked out that link. I have checked all my settings. I did nothing custom other than a few words of thanks.

I've got 4 transactions completed, and still, today, 16 hours later, no email, no notification of a sale completed, other than the regular paypal emails saying the money was paid form the payment account.

I see all the payments in the receiving account. So I know PayPal processed both ends of that transaction. Why would ejunkie not receive notification?

And with "wait for notice" unchecked ... why isnt ejunkie simply serving the download link?]]>

As you can see by going to your E-junkie Seller Admin > Transaction Log, no sales have been logged there for you yet, indicating we have not received confirmation of any completed payments from PayPal, so our system had no way of knowing any orders were actually placed.

Please see this troubleshooting help page for instructions to track down the source of the problem, so you can fix that:

I triple checked all settings. Am not using any custom options, just your standard thank you email. No custom variables. Keeping it as simple as possible.

File has been uploaded and I verified it is there.

The message I received after I paid, and clicked "Complete Purchase" was that ejunkie had not been notified yet of my payment.... yet I received 3 confirmations directly form paypal.

Am I a victim of unfortunate timing circumstances at the moment or is there a big delay in the timeliness of the ejunkie download email...

The product that we're selling - these people are going to want instant gratification, so a delay like this will cripple us.

Thanks!

When we corresponded by email earlier today I recommended changing some of your account's email settings, but seeing as how your missing emails ended up arriving late the delay would have been caused by something outside of our control, either a problem within your email service or over-zealous anti-spam measures.

I do still recommend re-entering the common thank you email in your account preferences, and to send less emails out for a single purchase you can disable the product specific emails that you are sending out right now. As long as your buyer gets one email with a link to your thank you page they will be able to make their downloads. For details on changing your email settings see here:

We have not had any other reports of problems with emails, but should anyone else have an issue like this please don't hesitate to contact us.]]>

This is only happening with e-mails from e-junkie; I tested that account from different e-mails (including the one used by e-junkie when sending my e-mails) and they all come through immediately.

Typically, the e-mails with file download links are sent immediately. That includes e-mails generated by a sale and also by the "Re-Activate Expired Link and Resend Thank You E-Mail" function.

As I tested today, the e-mails are taking up to three hours to make it to me. I put a call into the outage hotline and also sent a contact-us e-mail. So far, no updates.

Is anyone else experiencing this or a similar issue?
