Discounts for specific products can only take a flat amount off the per-unit price of the product. However, you can use the same Discount Code for several product-specific discounts (just make sure you give each one a unique Discount Name), so a buyer could enter that one code in their cart to apply a discount to each item in the cart which has a discount using that code. Automatic volume discounts are even easier; just leave the Discount Code blank and set the minimum item total or quantity for each product to qualify for the discount -- note that for product-specific discounts, the total/qty. threshold settings only apply to that item, not the whole cart order.]]>

=============

Is it possible to have product-specific percentage discounts? Most of my products are discounted 5% at the $200 level, 10% at the $300 level, etc.

But I have a NEW line of by-the-case products (much smaller margins) that I don't want to receive these automatic discounts.

I don't think that flat discounts are the answer because some of my products have variants with different prices. I might want to give $.20 off each of the least expensive variant but $.50 of the most expensive. Each would equate to 5%, but the flat amounts are different - even for the same SKU (because of the price variants). I don't think I can create an array of flat discounts for a single SKU's variants.

Ideally, I could create a percentage discount that can be automatically applied per SKU. But % is grayed out when I try.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.]]>
