We've been addressing that issue in the other thread you mentioned. If you could please open a support ticket and send us your system data I will forward that on to our development team so that they can investigate your downloads and see if they are related to the problems some other clients have been experiencing or if it is something else. Thanks for your patience.]]>

I also wanted to give more information on my system. I'm running Win XP Pro on all systems with IE8 w/current updates and MS Security Essentials. I don't seem to have issues downloading anyone elses files that I am aware of.

Additionally, this morning I attempted to dowload my zip file to my wife's computer, since on her computer I'm running a slightly older version of IE with limited upgrades (do not have it set for auto upgrades). I had the same problem with her computer as with mine; would "freeze" at the beginning of the download.

Need help!!

Possible Remedy #1 - Okay, I'm thinking (out of ignorance) maybe the tool that sends out the free code doesn't like sending two out sequentially to the same email adddress (or maybe to the same computer). Anyway, I run three computers and three displays on my desk so I send the free download to another computer with another one of my email addresses. Keep in mind that all of this is happening during the same session (around the same time). I checked the inbox and, once again, the email w/download link was there in record time. Clicked on the link which took me to the download page, clicked on "click here", and yeah, nothing happened, no download.

Possible Remedy #2 - I'm thinking maybe the servers are having some type of difficulty with my zipped file. I like WinRAR and have used it for years with no problem; but stranger things have happened so I repeat the exercise in WinZip with a perfectly good 5MB zip file overwriting the origianl file. Once again, all of this is going down during the same time. I do everything the same and send to a different email address and computer again (also did on the original computer); once again it would not download.

Okay, the story gets weirder. I'm frustrated and hungry so I put everything into hibernate mode and I take an hour lunch. I come back to the problem and reload the same file and send out another free download link/code to one of my other computers. Yeah, you guessed right; everything moves along smooth as silk and the file downloads in fine fashion. I immediately do the "identical exercise" again and yep, "no download". I then try it on another computer and "no download".

I'm aware that no one likes a know-it-all and I certainly don't look at myself as a computer expert, but I have been messing with computers and the Internet for about seven years and I can get around OK. I guess what I'm getting at is that I don't think that we can look at my situation and assume that I have some type of IP or browser problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I would have had the two or three "perfect" (I mean fast) downloads if there was a problem with my system, my browser or my IP service.

Sorry for the long epistle, I'll make any future correspondence considerably shorter. Like I said, I have really heard some great things about E-Junkie and I really do want to "join the fraternity", but by the same token I'm kind of a stickler for consistency and I want to make sure that I'm making the right move. Bottom line . . . . I NEED HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. . . .

Thanks,
