If you just prefer the look/wording of a Buy Now button but still want it to function as an Add to Cart button, so you can calculate shipping charges, the top of this help page explains how to modify your Add to Cart button code to replace our standard cart button image with any custom button graphic or text you prefer:

# Shipping Destinations: if you will only ship to certain countries, select them in the list, or otherwise select nothing for Worldwide shipping;
# Leave all other settings blank or 0.00;
# Click Next to save settings and proceed to the Shipping Rules screen.

In the Existing Shipping Rules menu, select and Delete any Rules you may have saved there.

Set up a Shipping Rule for Domestic shipping:
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Flat
# Shipping Amount: 0.00
# Country: United States
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

Set up your first Rule for Canada:
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Flat
# Shipping Amount: 9.95
# Country: Canada
# Max. Item Total: 50.00
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

Set up your next Rule for Canada:
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Flat
# Shipping Amount: 14.95
# Country: Canada
# Min. Item Total: 50.01
# Max. Item Total: 100.00
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

Continue setting up Rules for Canada; your highest-tier rate can leave Max. Item Total at 0, meaning "no maximum".

Set up your first rule for "rest of the world":
# Shipping Rate Calculator: Flat
# Shipping Amount: [enter your lowest Int'l rate]
# Country: All Countries (covers the rest of your Shipping Destination countries which don't have Rules of their own);
# Max. Item Total: 50.00
# Click Submit to save the Rule.

Continue setting up additional Rules for all your international rate tiers, similar to what you did for Canada.

Click Back to Admin, and you're done!]]>

US: free shipping on any order
Canada: tiered shipping cost based on total cost of cart - example $.01 - $50 is $9.95 shipping and then $50.01 - $100 is $14.95 and son on
All other countries: tiered shipping like Canada but different rate

I also wasn't sure how to big all countries except US and Canada for a rule]]>

We could provide more specific instructions if you could explain the shipping charges you want in more complete detail.]]>

I would like to offer free shipping in the US and shipping amounts based on order total in other countries. For example, under $50 is $9.95 to Canada and $14.95 to other countries.

I currently do this using PayPal shipping calculator but I am trying to upgrade to e-junkie cart. Right now, e-junkie cart page is showing 0.00 for the shipping amount and then PayPal is displaying the correct shipping charge. I would rather have e-junkie calculate the correct shipping charge so that it shows in the cart before clicking off to PayPal or Google.

Thanks for the help!]]>
