With the huge success in online trading and bidding on eBay, people are finding new ways of making money using eBay.
A shop chain called iDrop has started a service where any one can drop off an item they no longer need at their shop, the shop for a small fee, will sell this online on behalf of the customer on eBay. The minimum value of the item must be above $30. A slew of such stores have started popping all over America using the same business model.
"iSold it" another drop off store chain also plans to open three eBay drop-off stores in the Dallas area.
The following is quoted verbatim from the iSold it site "iSold It is a nationwide chain of eBay drop off stores that makes it easy for anyone to sell their things on eBay. Simply drop by one of our stores with an item you'd like to sell, and we'll do the rest. We professionally photograph your item, write descriptive copy about it, and list it on eBay. We also take care of payment collection, packing and shipping and customer service. After your item sells, we send you a check!"
Snappy Auctions, a Nashville, Tenn.-based franchise and an independently owned shop called stop, Drop 'N Click have opened their doors in Medford, Oregon. At stop, Drop 'N Click the minimum value of an item that can be offered up for sale can be as low as $9.99
