What service is E-junkie providing?
E-junkie provides a service to sell anything, anywhere
easily. E-junkie provides you shopping cart and buy now
buttons to let you sell downloads and tangible goods on your
website, eBay, MySpace, Google Base, Craigslist and other
websites using PayPal,
PayPal Pro, Google
Checkout, Authorize.Net,
2CheckOut, ClickBank
and TrialPay.
For merchants selling downloads, we automate and secure the
digital delivery of your files and codes. If you are selling
tangible goods, we automate the shipping calculation and inventory
management. Our shopping cart has a built in sales tax, VAT,
packaging and shipping cost calculator.

it with E-junkie.

You can sell software, ebooks, mp3s, phone cards, t-shirts,
posters, books, CDs, DVDs, toys, knitting patterns, videos,
stock photos, fonts, graphics, themes, discount coupons, artwork,
scooters, articles, event tickets and anything else you can
imagine!
You can even use it to accept donations or other variable amount
payments for pending invoices and auction payments. |

In addition to your own site or blog, any site that you
lets you put HTML (MySpace, FaceBook) or even a link (Craigslist,

A product with multiple options like size, color etc. is still
considered one product
A music album is also a single product. It's your choice to
upload all files as a single zipped file or create a product
for each track and group them in the album product so the buyer
can download them individually. |

Does E-junkie work with dropshippers? Does
E-junkie do delivery for tangible items as well?
We do not stock or deliver tangible items. If you want to
integrate E-junkie with your dropshipper, check the integration

What all shipping methods does E-junkie support?
Currently we have a USPS shipping calculator. Apart from
that you can enter your custom prices as well. Custom prices
can be used to create flat rate shipping and combined with our
cart discounts you can create your own shipping table style
shipping rates or even give free shipping for pickup orders. |

Does E-junkie work with multiple currencies
and international accounts? Do you support languages other than
English and countries other than U.S?
Yes, you can select your currency for each product. You can
also use ANY language/character set for your product name, details,
message on download page or the email that goes out to the buyer.

How secure is your service? Do you verify
the price?
Before E-junkie processes an order, it verifies the account
being paid, product price and the currency for every transaction.
E-junkie also checks for duplicate transactions and verifies
the validity of a transaction before processing it.
If you are selling digital products, they are stored outside
publicly accessible folders. Download links sent to buyers are
temporary and expire after number of downloads and hours set
by you. |

How robust is E-junkie? What sort of infrastructure
does E-junkie have? What sort of server is your site running
on?
E-junkie is a distributed application running on CentOS
servers in co-lo facility in Tucson. We have RAID drives and
offsite backups to ensure high availability of your data. |

I have specific requirements. Will you customize the process
for me?
Please contact us and we will come
up with a solution for you. If the feature is something our
other merchants might find useful as well, chances are we
will jump on it right away and add it. If it's only something
you need specifically, we will suggest you how you can achieve
that as our service is very open ended and it's easy to add
custom script on top of it.

Why doesn't E-junkie charge any commission?
E-junkie was not started as a for-profit project. However,
we do pay server and bandwidth bills and we need to be paid
for our time. That's why we charge you in the first place. It
did not start as an absolute for-profit venture and we intend
to keep it that way. It's fun that way and keeps everyone happy.

How can E-junkie provide "unlimited"
bandwidth?
Everybody knows, bandwidth is not free. We pay for a humongous
amount of bandwidth (which is 20% more than our total use) and
rather than allocating parts of it to our merchants, we give
them an "uncapped" access to the complete pool. So
even though the small fee we charge each merchant is only good
for a fraction of the bandwidth we make available, we are able
to provide uncapped access by pooling the bandwidth of all merchants
together (as not all merchants have high bandwidth requirements)
and then adding a 20% buffer. |

Definitions for a few terms used throughout our documentation
- Purchase buttons
Cart and buy now button code E-junkie provides you to sell
your products.
- Purchase link/URL
Each button has a link like https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?throughout=....
That link is the purchase link.
- Payment processor
The service which you are using to accept payments,
like PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, 2CheckOut,
ClickBank, TrialPay etc.
- Payment page
Payment processor's page where buyer pays you.
- Thank You page
This is the page where buyer reaches after making the
payment. You get a default "thank you" page on
E-junkie.
- Thank You email
The email E-junkie sends out to the buyer after a successful
payment.
- Product Configuration
Area where you add/modify your product settings. You
reach here from Admin > Add product or Admin
> Edit product
- Product listing
Extra details (optional) you provide for your product
(to promote it) by going to Admin > Create Listing.

Can I buy E-junkie "script"?
No, there is a no E-junkie script as such. E-junkie is a
completely hosted solution which hides all the complexity from
sellers as well as buyers. |
