E-junkie Shopping Cart Buttons
E-junkie shopping cart buttons are our recommended buttons as they provide your buyers the best user experience possible and support all E-junkie features (like cart discounts, variable pricing, editable quantity, product variations, user input, shipping calculation, tax calculation etc.) and provide buyer the option to checkout with any payment processor (PayPal Standard, PayPal Pro, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net) that you have enabled in your E-junkie account.
E-junkie provides you a common VIEW CART button code for your whole account and an ADD TO CART for each of the product you add.
E-junkie shopping cart buttons come in two flavors -
- JavaScript (default)
When you use our default cart buttons, the cart will open "inside" your website. For these buttons to work as intended, you must place the VIEW CART button once on each page where you place an ADD TO CART button, as the VIEW CART button code have the essential JavaScript to make the cart work.
Although the cart uses JavaScript, in case the buyer does not have JavaScript enable or is using a mobile device to access your shop, these buttons will automatically work in Non-JavaScript mode and will open the cart in a new window.
- Non-JavaScript
You should only use the Non-JavaScript version if you are pasting the button code on a site which does not let you paste JavaScript, like Craigslist or MySpace. When buyer clicks on these buttons, the cart will open in a new window. To get the Non-JavaScript version of the button code, simply un-check the checkbox on the button code screen which says "Uncheck this box if you need to use the code on MySpace...."
