How to start selling?

1. Go to E-junkie Admin.
   
2. If you are selling with PayPal, all you need to ensure is that you enter your PayPal email in Admin > Edit Profile. If you are selling with other payment processors (Google Checkout, PayPal Pro, Authorize.Net, ClickBank, 2CheckOut, TrialPay), make sure you have followed the relevant instructions.
   
3. Click on "Add Product" link in E-junkie Admin.
   
4. Specify the Name and Price for your product and select a Currency.
   
5. The email subject and text field lets you enter the text you want to include in the "thank you" email. If you want complete control over the email which goes out, you can later see the customization section in help page.
   
6. Depending on whether you are selling a digital item [file(s) or code(s) or both] or a regular tangible item or a tangible item with options which a buyer can select from (size, color etc.), you can check the boxes provided under the heading "My product needs"
   
7. If you need to, you can enable other options like tax, inventory and shipping.
   
8. Press "SUBMIT" button or for more options you can click "MORE OPTIONS" button which will show you the other options you can configure for your product, like setting download limits (if applicable), creating discount codes, customizing the "thank you" page, impulse selling etc.
   
9. The final screen you will see is the one from where you will get the Cart or Buy Now button code which you will need to place on your website. If you are selling a digital item, this is also the page which will have the UPLOAD button which will let you upload your product file.

Note:

• You do not need E-junkie button code if you are selling on eBay or some other auction site.

Using the button code

• If you are selling on eBay or a similar site
  You don't need to use the button code. Click here for details.
  
• If you are selling on your own website or blog
  
  
  • If you can edit the pages
    You just need to paste the HTML code in your pages by using the online or offline HTML editor you regularly use
    
    
  • If you are using a site builder
    Look for the option which lets you paste HTML in your website
    
    
• If you are selling on a site like MySpace or FaceBook which lets you paste HTML but not JavaScript
  Make sure that you turn the JavaScript option "off" in E-junkie button code screen before you copy the code.
  
  
• If you are selling on a site like Craigslist, Flickr, YouTube, Unpcoming.Org or in a forum or in a newsletter which does not let you paste HTML, but does let you paste a link.
  From E-junkie ADD TO CART or BUY NOW button, take the URL (https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?i=.....) part and just stick it wherever you want to.

Selling particular products
A product in E-junkie can be a file, a code, a tangible item, any combination of these three (like a CD with mp3 downloads, Software download with registration code) or even a donation or a "pay me now" variable amount kind of thing.

• Files
  E-junkie does not differentiate between file formats. Selling mp3 files or selling videos is not much different than selling ebooks.
