Standard Rate - Pay a per transaction fee of $ 0.30 plus 2.9% of payment amount on every payment received.
PayPal Merchant Rate - Pay a per transaction fee of $ 0.30 plus 2.2% of payment amount on every payment received.
PayPal Merchant Rate Criteria
The Merchant Rate pricing is reserved for exclusive members whose accounts are in good standing and who meet the following standards:
- They have been a PayPal member for at least 90 days.
- Received $3,000 per month in PayPal payments for the last 90 days.
Note: After qualifying for PayPal Merchant Rate pricing, you must maintain at least $3,000.00 USD in payments per month with PayPal. Members may be downgraded to the Standard Rate if their monthly PayPal volume drops below $3,000.00 USD.
How to apply for PayPal Merchant Pricing
Members interested in receiving the PayPal Merchant Rate should apply login to their PayPal and apply via online application form.
To apply for the PayPal Merchant Rate:
- Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/ by entering your email address and password in the Member Log In box.
- Select "Fees" at the bottom (footer) of the page.
- In the "Receive Funds" row, click the link under the "Premier/Business Account" column.
- Click "Merchant Rate Criteria" at the bottom of the page.
- Click "Apply Now".
- Fill out the Merchant Rate application.
- Read the User Agreement carefully and check the box to indicate you have agreed on the terms and conditions.
- Click "Submit."
