Tivo meets Yahoo - schedule recordings of TV programs online.

TiVo and yahoo jointly announced a service that enables TiVo's DVR to be programmed via yahoo's portal so that TiVo users can schedule shows that are to be recorded. This service works in conjunction with Yahoo's TV listings. This service is designed for TiVo Series 2 set-top boxes.
The two companies also plan to expand the partnership in the next few months with such offerings as displaying of photos stored on the Yahoo Photos site and provide local traffic and weather information to users of TiVo.
