TiVo offer new services to its subscribers

TiVo Inc. has announced a service where its users can now buy movie tickets through the movie ticket system Fandango. Other services include online radio via Live365, and the ability to listen to Internet-based programming, or pod casts. Users can also view traffic, weather and personal photos from Yahoo Inc.

The new service has been announced to counter the increasing threat to TiVo’s market share by set top boxes provided by its cable and satellite rivals.
