Taking an order to Google Checkout leads to a blank page

You added some item(s) to your cart, then pressed the Google Checkout button on the cart screen, but then you couldn't actually checkout from there and only got a blank screen instead.

Usually, this sort of problem happens when:

  • You're still using the "sandbox" (testing) mode of Google Checkout, which cannot process actual, real-world transactions; or...
  • You've got an inaccurate Google Merchant ID or Key entered in your E-Junkie Admin Profile; if you're pasting-in this info, make sure you're copying all the relevant characters and not pasting any extra characters (e.g., leading/trailing space(s) or other punctuation); or...
  • You're trying to complete a transaction in some currency other than the "native" currency of your Google Checkout (e.g., a UK-based Google Checkout setup for GBP cannot process transactions for products priced in USD on your E-Junkie side of things).
