TiVo to offer Video for iPod video and PSP platforms

TiVo the popular DVR maker had released TiVoToGO a few months ago the recordings were formatted with DRM using the technology provided by Macrovision.
This kind of recording requires a unique password provided by TiVo, this was mainly aimed at preventing piracy. Later on Support for DVD-burning and Microsoft’s portable media center devices were added in June of this year.

TiVo has taken another step into the booming mobile video market with its plans of offering video formatted with both the iPod and PSP platforms in mind.

TiVo will start to beta test this new service in a few weeks time and plans to release it commercially next year.

The likely cost for the service could be between $15 and $30.
