The Pacific Ocean is mighty and forceful, smashing down onto intertidal rocks with vigor. Here, a stereo microphone is perched on a rock above the tidepools. The waves crash onto the surrounding pools, filling them in all directions around the microphone, creating a rich, thick cauldron of sound.
