Here in New England, the crickets hang on to the last warm days of Autumn, singing enthusiastically while they still can, before the frost and cold weather inevitably settle in on the area. The days of peak insect activity have left with the Summer, so this mellow October recording of chirping crickets makes for a less "busy" alternative to the Summer Meadow soundtrack. Wonderful for relaxation, meditation, or sleep.
