I have to admit that the only reason I read this book was because of the movie. I wanted to re-read The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe and thought I would start at the beginning. I'm glad I did. LW&W is the best known but this book (and Horse and his Boy, which I am just about finished with) is every bit as good. Do yourself a favor and start at the beginning. Start with The Magician's Nephew. This is great stuff!
