Making movies make sense is an HTML-based resource which runs in a standard Web browser using QuickTime 6.5 or later.

Making movies make sense explains the effect of camera, sound, light, colour and editing clearly using dozens of specially shot stills, video and audio clips. 'How-to' sections link theory and practice, and the 'Making a film' section describes how to go about planning, shooting and editing a film.

Making movies make sense is aimed at children age 9 and above, young people and adults. The original CD-ROM was highly commended in the 2006 BETT Awards for education technology.

This download version includes all the resources on the CD-ROM with the exception of unedited practice video footage, and QuickTime and Adobe Reader software.
