For most small business owners (SBOs), hiring an SEO specialist is not an option due to budget constraints. We SBOs stay lean. We try do-it-yourself (DIY) tactics before we outsource. And we don’t have a ton of extra time on our hands to dedicate to learning just one marketing tactic inside and out in one sitting. That’s just not feasible.
To truly understand SEO, you have to dive right into it. It’s like tennis. You can talk about it all day long, but if you never get out onto the court, it won’t really make sense. DIY SEO is not an oxymoron. It’s doable, and you’re wasting valuable time if you don’t at least give it a go. Every day your customers and potential customers are turning to search engines to look for the exact services and products you provide. Don’t you want to be the company they turn to?
