This theme started out life as a humble free theme called Aperture, originally developed by Dary Barclay. Increased demand for more features and better compatibility saw a new 'pro' version released in 2008. Composition has continued to grow in popularity, thanks to its distinct 'light on dark' colour scheme, vivid header container and complete range of theme settings. Ideal for marketing, portfolio and photojournalism websites.

The latest version of Composition is the best yet, having been completely rewritten from scratch in 2010. Both the header height and layout can be customised. Up to 50 custom background images can be embedded in the theme, alongside many example images supplied. 10 Extra Content containers are now built in, and the sidebar is placed in the header to conserve space.
