Can anyone dumb this down for me?
I'm starting to get more into ecommerce tracking for my site. I set it up years ago (don't even remember how) but never looked at any reports. There are two issues with the Google reporting:
1) Counting one transaction as 3-4 transactions. This is because my customers can go to the download page several times. I think this has been fixed by adding a common thank you page on my own site, rather than on Ejunkie. So hopefully that's fixed.
2) This is where I'm stuck. Google says all of my purchases came from Ejunkie (they seem to be categorized as either Direct or Referral) - but it does not attribute any of my purchases to
Organic traffic. And I'm certain 95%+ of my purchases are from organic traffic. This means I can't see the purchase path or the keywords used that are leading to sales.
Has anyone set this up correctly before - being able to actually track the purchase cycle? And can you explain it in English? Conversely, I'm happy to pay for someone to help me through this.
