Titanic
This eBook is about the Titanic disaster and its connections in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been aware of the Titanic’s connections to the Halifax area for a long time. However, I learned only recently about the connections throughout the entire province.
There are numerous small community museums who are very proud to display and discuss their collections and stories regarding the Titanic. It is my hope that this eBook will send many new visitors to these museums to see what is somewhat hidden away regarding the Titanic tragedy.
As an example - Did you know that a letter exists written by an electrician who was on the Minia? The Minia was one of the Halifax-based cable ships sent to recover Titanic bodies. He wrote the letter to his mother and it describes what they were experiencing on the ship while performing this heart-wrenching task.
