Can I set a button form that will allow me to sell a single item in different colors / designs

ie see the add to cart button with my existing cart at

http://www.epatiofurnituredirect.com/chair-seat-outdoor-cushions

also, is this charged as 1 item or if I have multiple colors ie 10 is it charged as 10 items?
